Quincy CFO Team

Quincy CFO was founded in 2010 by Kelly Jennings, a seasoned business leader and accounting professional who was following a passion to help small and mid-sized businesses build a solid infrastructure for growth.

Kelly Jennings got her start in accounting at Arthur Andersen, where she built her skills as an auditor for high-tech and biotech companies. However, it was her on-the-ground work in industry as Controller of Gene Logic and Vice President of RCLCO, where she made her mark on finance and operations of some of the fastest-growing companies in Maryland. At Gene Logic, she experienced the demands of a publicly traded company from the IPO through acquisitions and subsequent offerings. While at RCLCO, a privately-held 35 year-old real estate consulting firm, she demonstrated how growth can happen when you invest in experienced leaders.

In these roles, she managed departments in accounting, human resources, information technology, facilities, and administration. The experience and vision that she gained as a result of these experiences has translated to a keen eye for efficient processes, which now gives business leadership the confidence to focus on growing the business while leaving aspects of back office management in Kelly’s hands.

Kelly graduated with a BS in Accounting from The University of Delaware, is an inactive CPA in the state of Maryland (inactive Maryland CPA), and lives with her family in Montgomery County.

Jenny Toth graduated from Towson University and worked in Baltimore as an auditor at Arthur Andersen for seven years.  During her time at Andersen, Jenny supervised audit teams and clients in the industries of non-profit, government, manufacturing, retail, publishing, sports and radio broadcasting.  After leaving public accounting, Jenny next took a position to manage the accounting and HR functions of a golf club in Maryland and, later, one in South Carolina.  During her time working as the Controller at these clubs, and other small businesses, Jenny built processes and efficiencies, and supervised staff and teams to work towards the goals of the immediate and parent organizations.

Jenny graduated with a BS in Accounting, is no longer an active CPA in the state of Maryland, and lives with her family in Howard County, MD.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

In 2011, our Accounting Manager of 5 years abruptly resigned, forcing us to quickly find a way to fulfill these critical responsibilities. In two short weeks, Quincy was up to speed on our accounting operations, working with our in-house bookkeeper and outside advisors. It was like things had never changed.- Marc Epstein, CEOStarCompliance
